This technique is ideal for patients who cannot take time off work or prefer to keep their procedure private, as well as those with hair long enough (usually at least 4-5 cm) to camouflage the transplant area. Because the hair is not shaved, extraction and implantation take longer than a traditional FUE procedure, as each graft must be carefully separated from surrounding hair. Depending on the number of grafts, the procedure typically takes between 6 and 9 hours, sometimes spread across two days.

Recovery is similar to standard FUE, with mild redness and scabbing in the recipient area for the first week. Since the hair is not shaved, most patients find it easier to conceal the healing process and resume social and professional activities almost immediately.

Transplanted hairs typically shed within the first 2-4 weeks, followed by a resting phase. New growth usually begins around month 3-4, with visible density improving steadily. Final results are generally assessed at 12 to 18 months after the procedure.
